Two manufacturing Process
1. Dry process: By dry process, can produce isotropic & anisotropic magnets;the tool can be changed and developed easily.
2. Wet process: By wet process, only anisotropic magnets can be produced;it is complicated to change the tool and the tooling charge is much higher.
Two Magnetization
1.Isotropic ferrite magnets are not oriented and can be magnetized in any direction;

Sintered Ferrite Magnet is manufactured from oxide material by powder metallurgical process. Its advantages include: low cost, excellent corrosion resistance, resistance to be demagnetized etc. The normal working temperature of ferrite magnet is between -40°C and +250°C. It can be magnetized before or after assembly. Generally, sintered ferrite magnet can be machined to regular shapes like segment, blocks, rings and discs etc. The normal grade for sintered Ferrite magnets are Y10T, Y25, Y30, Y30BH, Y35 etc.

Ferrite magnets can be used up to +250 degrees C (and in some cases up to +300 deg C). Ferrite magnets are also low cost, particularly in high volume production runs. Ferrite / Ceramic Magnets resist chemical attacks from many of the alkaline solutions, dilute acids, organic solvents, and some hydroxides. They are fine foruse in salt water conditions (no corrosion issues at all). It can be etched with acids (e.g. hydrochloric acid). |
