Alnico Horseshoe Magnets offer the highest working temperatures of any magnet currently available and are therefore ideal for high temperature heat treatment jigs and fixtures. They are also extremely mechanically strong and resistant to corrosion making them ideal for underwater (sub-sea) applications.

ALNICO POWER MAGNETS
The horseshoe magnet is a classic Alnico magnet shape. Sometimes the Alnico u magnet is called a C-shape magnet and is also known as a pocket Alnico C-Shape magnet, a minor Alnico horseshoe magnet, and a power U-type magnet – they are all Alnico magnets but have different sizes and performances.
The Alnico horseshoe magnets are capable of operating at temperatures of up to a maximum of +550 degrees C. The Alnico horseshoe magnets are supplied in natural (uncoated / unpainted) and red paint finishes. The Alnico horseshoe magnets can be offered in other dimensions and grades.
