Pot magnets, flat with a countersunk hole
Countersunk cups are neodymium magnets housed in a stainless steel cup with a countersunk hole for mounting. Hence, they can be screwed into the wall or ceiling with an appropriate countersunk screw and you can attach various objects. These magnets work with rubber boots that protect the magnets and the surface you are attaching to from damage.
By using a countersunk head screw, users can easily screw the pot magnet onto places where they want to hang, for example, tools, small iron parts etc. The openness of the countersunk can be changed to match the size of screw head.
Countersunk magnets are available with either pole on the magnetic face so that they can be used as a pair to attract or repel. If you are using two magnets to attract you need to make sure the opposite poles are facing each other as identical poles will repel! This magnet in a steel pot has a countersunk borehole and can be fastened with a countersunk screw.
What does a neodymium pot magnet consist of?

When does loss of magnetic strength occur?
Neodymium pot magnets have a maximum operating temperature of up to 80 °C. When heated to this temperature, the magnet loses 15 to 20% of its magnetic force. This is not permanent; the force is restored when the magnet returns to the normal ambient temperature.
External magnetic fields may also cause loss of magnetic force. An air gap or non-magnetic materials located between the magnet and workpiece reduce the tensile force.
Tension on the magnet
For pot magnets with a cylinder hole, the magnet has a countersunk hole. Tighten with caution. Excessive tightening causes magnetic splinters or cracks in the magnet.
