This key rack is 50 cm instead of 32 cm long and comes with 11 magnetic docks for keys.

The Flux-Pins are composed of a very strong magnet with a plastic sleeve. The sleeves are screwed into the wall (screws and rawlplugs are also included), the magnet is pressed-in and the flux object is simply “docked” with its own magnets on the sleeve. All flux objects are delivered with a number of these “Flux-Pins”.
An elaborate set of assembly instructions, the all-important fastening equipment, and a drilling stencil are included. It’s in German but easy to understand with the pictures.

This is a tiger Maple key rack which could also be used for small/light knives or sewing tools with magnets spread to hold 2-4 items. I use neodymium rare earth magnets although small they are EXTREMELY powerful. They are drilled in from the back to leave only a thin layer of material in front of them. The magnets are backed with Maple plugs both plugs and magnets are glued in place using a high grade adhesive to ensure a lifetime of use.

Have I ever told you about our keys and the many woes that go along with them. Lets see….the worst one was our side door drilling fiasco….. that was fun. Along with that and the many other incidents and frustration due to lost keys, I finally made this pretty cool DIY portable key holder. And actually it has has helped.

One of the very coolest things about this project is that you don’t need to have access to barn wood to achieve this amazing barn wood look. I found a product that did all the awesome wood aging for me!!
