Quik Lift Profile Magnetic Plates – Urethane recess members that securely hold Quik Lift flat anchors in place while the concrete product is poured and cured. The urethane recess member is attached to the magnetic profile holding plate on locating rods and the plate is mounted to the steel form wall with very powerful magnets that eliminate the need for drilling holes in the form for mounting screws or welding the plate to the form. This magnetic based process can significantly reduce form setup time and form re-configurability, thereby, improving process efficiency and reducing production costs.
Note: The use of the profile magnetic plate to hold the recess member, versus using recess members alone that have magnets integrated into the bottom of the member creates a recess in the concrete of greater depth for improved accessibility to the anchor. The use of the separate plates also allows the magnetic piece to continue to be used in production, after the non-magnetic recess member wears out and needs to be replaced.
