Magnetic couplings are shaft couplings that use a magnetic field instead of a physical mechanical connection to transmit torque from one shaft to another.They are non-contact and utilize attraction and repulsion of the magnetic poles to transmit rotational power.Magnetic couplers tolerate large misalignments and produce no noise,vibration.

Non-contact synchronous couplings have a softer start and stop function than most standard couplings and can be used as a torque limiting device since there are no mechanically engaged parts.

Magnetic couplings has no auxiliary hydraulic and cooling systems,and no contact between the inner and outer rotors,which greatly reduces the difficulty and frequency of maintenance,reduces the cost of maintenance,reduces the number of shutdowns,and improves production efficiency.In case of pipeline blockage or pressure increase,this magnetic coupling has automatic overload protection,which effectively prevents dangerous situations such as overload explosion and pipeline rupture,and reduces the probability of accidents.

The magnetic torque coupling is generally composed of a magnet rotor and a conductor rotor. There is a variable air gap between the magnetic rotor and the conductor rotor. When the main motor drives the conductor rotor to rotate, it is opposite to the magnet installed on the driven end. During the circular motion of cutting the magnetic lines of force, the conductor rotor at the active end generates an eddy current induced magnetic field, which interacts with the magnetic field at the driven end, so as to realize the non-contact torque transmission between the active end and the driven end.
When the working machine is overloaded or stuck, the air gap between the magnetic rotor and the conductor rotor increases rapidly until the air gap is reached, and the speed of the magnetic rotor at the working machine end decreases or reaches zero, thereby realizing the overload protection of the motor.
