Heavy-duty retrieving magnet (also kown as Search Magnets / Treasure Salvage Magnets) comes in handy when you’ve lost important tools, heavy metal objects–even small motors–at the bottom of your favorite lake or stream.
Retrieve lost fishing gear, separate scrap iron from waste, clear your garage of nails, screws and sharp metal after your next project.
Unit has a threaded hole and screw-in ring
You can attach your own choice of line – or mount to your wall or workbench to use as a hold-fast
PULL RETRIEVING MAGNETS Calculates the Pull Force Between a Magnet and a Mild Steel Plate. Pull force can vary significantly as a result of surface conditions, direction of pull, type of steel, etc. These pull force values are presented to aid in design but the user should not use them as a definitive reference.
The pull force of a magnet is amount of force needed to remove from the object it is magnetically attracted to. This is a function of how strong its magnetic field is, and the properties of what it is attached to. Lift is not the same as what a pull means. We do not state lifting power.
The pull force listed is actual data acquired by testing using our state-of-the-art force test stand.
PULL RETRIEVING MAGNETS is rated on direct contact with 2″ thick, flat, and smooth ferrous steel plate while pulling magnet perpendicular to steel plate. Pounds of pull are less on thinner ferrous steel surfaces or steel with lower iron content. Layers of paint and other finishes decrease the pounds of pull.
We also manufacture retrieving magnets in other sizes and configurations to meet specific needs. Please contact us by firstname.lastname@example.org or call 86-574-27667267
