The Flexible Stem Magnetic Base B is typically used for metalworking and other projects where machinery is used. The vertical post and rod in the magnetic base is connected by swiveling snugs or connectors, which allows free motion of the arm so that the dial indicator can be easily moved into position on the workpiece. When the base is on, the iron acts as an extension of the magnet. When the base is off, the magnet acts as a keeper, preventing the magnetic field from extending through the base. Magnetic bases makes setting up workpieces in various types of machinery much easier.

Magnetic bases are designed primarily for holding dial gauge indicators. Different models cover applications from light duty to heavy duty, with standard fitments – fine adjust fitments, or flexible fitments available. Magnetic tools, including magnetic vee blocks, vices, holdfasts, floaters, a hand magnet, and demagnetizers, increase the flexibility of any tool room – from tool and die to maintenance shop.

Flex magnetic bases are manufactured, machined, powder coated and assembled in the CHINA from start to finish. Our goal is to produce a superior China-made precision tool. Dial Indicator: Fine tune your machinery by adding a dial indicator to your set of tools. This 1″ stroke dial indicator features large, easy to read numbers and crisp graduations. Each revolution is 0.100″, indicated by the revolution counter. The resolution is 0.001″. There is a mounting lug on the back of the case. Magnetic bases have 180 pounds of pulling force, all metal part construction and are made to precision ground standards.
