AlNiCo Holding Magnet – Alnico deep pot magnet assemblies for gripping, clamping and fixturing applications. The ‘deep’ pot proportions provide excellent performance and stability.

Made from Alnico5 with a zinc or nickle coated mild steel shell and spacer, with neck / pin
*The magnet material will work up to 450°C but caution is necessary above 200°C as the assembly may become loose.

Pot Magnets are Magnetic Holding Assemblies for use where a very strong surface holding magnet is required.
The magnet sits inside a steel case which provides extra strong magnetism on one face only, provides a hole for fixing and also protects the magnet from damage.
We stock Pot Magnets using the 3 most common magnetic materials. Special sizes and types of Pot magnets can be made to order (minimum quantities apply).

Please note that pull strengths given in the tables are approximate only and vary depending on the thickness and surface condition of the steel that the magnet holds to.
