These pot magnets are industry standard in all English-speaking countries where they are referred to as “deep pot magnets”.
The installed alloy magnet is built in with an spacer collar made of aluminium in a soft iron pot. As a result the holding force is concentrated onto the holding area. All pot magnets have an inner thread M6 at the top.

This cylindrical NdFeB Deep Pot Magnet with Brass Body, Blue Epoxy features high holding power and small size. It is widely used for holding and lifting.

Brass body, neodymium magnetic core, anisotropic, magnetic surface marked with blue colour, working temperature max. +80°C.

The holding force is determined at room temperature (20°C) on a polished plate made of mild steel with a thickness of 10 mm by pulling the magnet vertically from the surface (1 kg ≈ 10 N). A deviation of -10% in the stated values is possible in exceptional cases. In general, the value will be exceeded.

Dimension A states the length by which the bar magnet can be shortened without being damaged. The holding force will be reduced up to 15% due to magnetic short circuits, when the bar magnet is mounted into iron directly. In order to avoid this, certain distances between the brass coat of the bar magnet and the iron have to be observed. These distances should also be kept at the rear, in case the bar magnet was shortened by dimension A and then mounted into iron.
