Neodymium block magnet. Each piece has 4 smaller neodymium block magnets bonded together and magnetized as one large magnet.
These pieces were custom made and are no longer needed. The epoxy coating that used to be on these magnets has been removed so they are being sold unplated.
N52 grade and super strong. This magnet is dangerous and should be handled with caution.
The surface field measurement from this magnet is over 4,000 Gauss. This is not a toy!!! Please review the pictures for further details and ask all questions before purchasing.

All Pull Force ratings provided within each listing for our magnetic materials is based solely on calculations derived from various factors such as magnet dimensions, grade, plating type, surface conditions, etc.. The values provided are approximations and each individual magnet could potentially vary slightly from the estimate. We do however make every effort to provide the most accurate information to our customers.
All buyers should understand that Pull Force values are determined based on applying the entire magnetic material face to a one Inch thick steel plate having perfect surface conditions. Using a magnet on material with poor surface conditions, applying the magnet to a ferrous surface having less than a one inch thickness or partial magnetic face contact will result is lower Pull Force values than what is stated in the listing. Additionally, all magnetic material will need to have direct contact to the ferrous surface in order to exert the total Pull Force capacity. We would also like to inform all potential buyers that Pull Force is not the same thing as Lift Capacity. For the most part, all Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets are rated in Pull Force. That value however does not directly translate to a magnets’ physical lifting capacity.
There are currently no conversion tables available that provide this information. However in our experience, we have found this value to be around 30% of the rated Pull Force value. Meaning, a magnet with a Pull Force rating of 30lbs can approximately lift a 10lb object, assuming perfect conditions are present that maximize the magnetic material properties. Again, these values and estimates are not guarantees. All buyers should perform their own testing to validate all functionality regarding each specific application and end use before implementation of the material. Our intent here is only to provide general reference for customers unfamiliar with magnetic materials.
