This magnet hook is guaranteed to always point in the desired direction, as the hook is designed to turn freely around the magnet base.
Like all the other magnet hooks, it is especially suitable for mounting on the underside of steel beams to hold vertical loads.
The adhesive force of the magnet mounted on a wall depends largely upon the smoothness of the wall surface. Kitchen towels or light tools can certainly be hung with this magnet without any problems.

These strong, chrome-plated swivel magnet hooks from HangSeng will make a nice-looking, functional addition to your refrigerator or file cabinet, and are even strong enough to pull duty on your tool box. These rated magnets will hold the full 30kg rated weight vertically from the underside of a thick steel surface. In a horizontal application (ex. the side of a fridge), the strength diminishes about 2/3 due to shear forces. The strength is suitable for your heaviest magnetic hook applications, or situations when you don’t want movement (ex. a heavy winter coat on the side of a file cabinet, or a tool belt hanging on your toolbox). Magnets should only be used by adults – be careful, these magnets are strong!
