They do have a lower adhesive force compared to to the round magnets made of neodymium, but they are also less expensive. In addition, ferrite magnets are ideal for outdoor use and can withstand higher temperatures.

Neodymium magnets: Especially strong as discs
We offer our disc magnets in more than 100 different sizes. They have adhesive forces ranging from 25 g to 140 kg, so you can find the right product for your needs. They are so-called raw magnets where the magnetic flux lines are dispersed in the air around the magnet (in contrast to pot magnets). This large areal distribution allows for attraction of metallic objects from a large distance.
