Block electromagnets (or rectangular electromagnets): Electromagnet in rectangular shape, which is used for holding, carrying and fixing of ferromagnetic work pieces. Magma standard rectangular electromagnets maximum length is 1000mm.
Our standard block electromagnets can also give you some clue to the range of holding power / size that could be achieved with these type of electromagnets, and Magma can design custom made block electromagnets according to customer request (different size, voltage and more).

Rectangular Flat-Faced Electromagnets are available in a variety of sizes.
Flat Faced magnets should only be used on flat, smooth material where the entire magnet face is in contact. Can be used in manually operated or automated applications. Magnets listed utilize D.C. current. Pounds pull ratings are maximum on low carbon steel at magnetic saturation.
Rectifier-Controllers are required to convert A.C. line current to D.C. , provide switching, and incorporate a release function which allows clean release of the work piece.

Rectangular Electromagnets are available in four standard sizes. These magnets provide positive holding power and high responsiveness in numerous manual or automatic applications. Controlled by a remote IMI power supply, rectangular electromagnets are available in 24VDC, *110VDC and 120VAC models.
